Michael J. Carron, M.D., Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director of Radiology Regional Center, received both his undergraduate and medical degrees from the University of Missouri—Columbia. He completed a surgical internship as well as one-year surgical residency at Washington University School of Medicine and then went onto complete another residency in diagnostic radiology at St. Louis University School of Medicine, where he was the Administrative Chief Resident.
Dr. Carron served three years as a physician in the U.S. Navy. He joined Radiology Regional Center in 1984 and has served in many leadership positions at Southwest Florida Regional Medical Center, including Medical Staff President and a member the Board of Trustees.
He is certified by the American Board of Radiology and has also received Certification of Added Qualifications in Interventional and Vascular Radiology. Dr. Carron is a member of the Society of Cardiovascular and Interventional Radiology. |
